Introduction In situation where a login password has been misplaced or forgotten, it may be necessary to reset your password. This can be done from the main login screen. If you are currently logged in and are, for example, attempting to change your password but have forgotten your old password, you will need to log out of the Corti application. ### 2. Start by logging out of the Corti application *(If you are already logged out and at the loginscreen, skip this step).*  You can access the Log Out option by clicking “Log Out” from the avatar logo in the top-left corner of the application main menu. ![](https://help-legacy.corti.ai/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202022-03-28%20at%2013-30-30-png.png?width=311&name=Screenshot%202022-03-28%20at%2013-30-30-png.png) 2. This will take you back to the main login screen. This will open the Reset User Password option. Enter in your email and click the **"Send A Password Reset Email"** button. An email will be sent to the email address you provided, along with instructions on how to reset your password   ### 3.
