1. About Permissions


A role's permissions determine which parts of the platform a user who is assigned that role, is able to view and edit.

Permissions are determined by roles which are allocated to each user. The use of roles allows you to quickly determine access to the platform for new users, rather than allocating permissions individually. Permissions are determined when creating or editing roles.

When granting permissions to a role, users need to be aware of the meaning and scope of each permission. In particular, a user might want to verify that the chosen permission grants the desired viewing and/or editing access, as both rights do not systematically come together.
