Triage

1. About Triage

Triage is a protocol tool which helps call-takers at EMS and Fire communications centers make better and faster decisions when triaging patients during calls.

Using Triage, call-takers benefit from timely suggestions and guidance which help them diagnostic and guide patients faster based on highly reliable decisions.

Triage is thereby a great tool to increase your organization's triaging speed and accuracy, so that patients get diagnosed and receive appropriate care as fast as possible.

Triage is part of Corti Engage

2. The Triage View

The Triage view is composed of 6 main components. Click on their name below for further information about each of them:

1. The Protocol Flow
The Protocol Flow is where the navigation of the protocols takes place step by step, one card at a time. The Protocol Flow where call-takers are supported and guided in their patient diagnosis and collection of information.

2. The Left Sidebar Menu

The Left Sidebar Menu has the main purpose of providing call-takers with an overview of the ongoing call, and easy access to relevant and specific items.

3. The Top Search Bar

The Top Search Bar enables call-takers to search and jump to specific branches within the graph in use.

4. The Collaboration Mode

Using the Collaboration Mode, call-takers can benefit from other users' expertise to provide better service.

5. The "Select Action" button

The "Select Action" button allows call-takers, when relevant, to manually select an action/a response type without having to wait to reach a specific protocol step to trigger it.

6. Detections

Detections are actionable AI-powered pop-up alerts which are triggered during calls and appear on the call-taker’s screen, as Corti’s machine learning models listen to the patient conversations and make different types of detections.
